Notion AI vs Obsidian Graph View

Anyone else find Notion AI’s recent contextual recall improvements struggling against Obsidian’s graph view, especially when paired with Claude 3 Opus – is there a sweet spot for linking complex thought chains?

Wow, I've been testing Notion AI with Claude 3 Opus and found it struggled to maintain coherence beyond about 6-8 linked notes, whereas Obsidian's graph view consistently let me build chains of 12-15 with minimal loss of context.

Obsidian’s graph view excels at visualizing interconnected ideas, and I’ve found Zettlr’s “Zettelkasten” method, with its linked notes and daily journaling, offers a smoother workflow for building those complex thought chains.

Obsidian’s graph view, combined with Claude 3 Opus, excels at visualizing 10+ interconnected concepts – Notion AI’s contextual recall often loses clarity with that level of complexity, creating a significant time investment to rebuild the connections.
